It all starts with a little dream.

She Wore Flowers originally launched in 2018 as a bridal marketplace and the brand quickly evolved into its own label, showcasing a collection of affordable, unique designs with its debut collection Sole e Luna in February 2020.
After spending nearly a decade in the wedding industry in both the UK and Canada, SWF's founder and designer, Ash Miran, recognized a common problem when it came to shopping for wedding dresses. All too often, brides had to make a sacrifice between style, or cost. It seemed they could either shop beautiful on-trend designs, or settle for something a little less special in an effort to be kind to the wallet. In Ash's mind, this just simply shouldn't be the norm.

Always one to stray away from the traditional, Ash put pencil to paper and began dreaming up her very own label that could bridge the gap between on-trend, timeless beauty and affordability. She dreamt of a bold collection that could provide brides with jaw-dropping designs at a price point that didn't leave them breathless. To do this, Ashley took a global approach to the fabric procurement and dress making processes.

Her collections encompass designs that echo the free-spirited non-traditionalist that Ash is at heart. Her inspiration tends to come from nature and the cosmos. She designs all items from her home studio on Vancouver Island, where she resides with her fiancé Tim and their three fur babies.
