The epitome of a summer wedding dress, Dahlia is made from those midsummer daydreams. Two separate parts, she is created from a strapless inner crepe gown, and a bold skirt with hand stitched lace and multiple layers of varying tulle layers.

​

Dahlia's inner dress is a light weight matte crepe fabric. It has boning in the bodice and sewn in cups at the bust. The silhouette of the inner gown is a column shape, which falls to the floor off the hips naturally. There is a leg slit in the side which mirrors the slit of the outer skirt. Since her skirt is sheer, the inner dress acts as a lining, and can also be worn on its own in the evening if you wish! 

 

Dahlia's sheer statement skirt is unforgettable, and it is put on overtop of the inner dress. It is very light weight as it is only comprised of three layers of tulle, all of which are different summer hues. The inner most layer of tulle is golden nude, the middle layer is a warm deep rose, and the outermost layer is a very light nude tone. Hand stitched lace florals are present in both the outermost and middle layers of tulle which adds a stunning depth to the skirt's detail. The varying contrasts of tulle also means that as you move, the skirt is constantly changing color in different lights and angles!

 

Although she may look like a lot of fabric, Dahlia is actually still a light weight wedding dress since there are no additional layers or petticoats to add weight or extra volume. Her inner dress train is 12", and the skirt's train can be made up to a beautiful 35" as shown in these photos.
